Board of Directors:

The founding four Directors of Friends of The Good Samaritans are:

Tim Philpot:

A former Senator and a present judge in Kentucky, he has aheart for the children from poor backgrounds. His first visit to the Alaknanda Toilet Complex School, while working with CBMC paved the way for change, by way of raising prayer of children from Lexington Christian Academy for their underprivileged counterparts in Delhi which ultimately resulted in the vision and execution of Good Samaritan School exclusively for the underprivileged children in Delhi, India.

Ananthi Jebasingh:

One of the founding members of The Good Samaritans in India in 1979, she started The Good Samaritans' Delhi School Projects in 1990 personally teaching one child from the nearby slum. To follow this calling she left her position as professor. Ananthi holds a masters degree in English and a PhD in linguistics from the prominent Jawarhalal Nehru University in New Delhi, and has developed a script for the Kurux tribe so that they may be able to read the their own language. She is the wife of Emil Jebasingh, and remains director of the Delhi School Project.

Jess Correll:

A businessman with First Southern National Bancorp based in the small town of Stanford, Kentucky, he has established a network of banks with high ethical values. He is on the Board of Crown Financial and has a passion to teach the biblical way of using personal finances. Touched by love for the poor slum kids, he and his wife Angela began actively supporting the ministry in 2003. They sent their son to India to see
the work and themselves have visited Delhi and saw the schools.

Lyston Peebles

A man with a heart for the youth, he has worked with Young Life and Crown Ministries, and founded Oak Ranch, a place for boys. Most recently he has served as a facilitator for many ministries, helping with their developmental needs.
