Good Samaritan School, Jasola,
New Delhi
 |
| Our schools in the slum areas function in
non-formal situation and we need to send them to recognized schools for
continuing their education till our own school in Jasola, New Delhi comes
up. We have identified a few middle level schools where they get admission
after passing their entrance test. We need to continue to sponsor these
children. Without our support, they can never complete their schooling. |
| They pay their share with great difficulty. 55 children are
sponsored by us. |
 |
After school, in the evening remedial classes are conducted. The Good
Samaritans teachers help them to do their homework and understand their
subjects better. Spiritual input is also given to them so that they can be
successful in life. |

Cold Spring Presbyterian church, Bristol is sponsoring these
children |
Visualized as a school in prestigious South Delhi with all modern facilities
to serve exclusively the down trodden children, the school started taking
shape when Tim Philpot visited the Toilet Complex School in Alaknanda and
when Dois Rosser visited the same. The effort is a joint venture of the Good
Samaritans, India and International Cooperating Ministries, USA. |
